Sagina records from iSpot - wrong taxon name

by AndyAmphlett » Thu Nov 14, 2019 12:57 pm

Tom,

Records of Sagina maritima in the Indicia:iRecord iSpot dataset (on the DDb), when examined all appear to originally refer to Sagina procumbens - https://database.bsbi.org/search.php#re ... 5663c805df. The taxon name when moved to the DDb seems to have got corrupted. But, other Indicia records of S. maritima appear to be ok (only checked a few).

Thanks, I'll raise this with BRC, it looks like an import bug between iSpot and iRecord, e.g. the iSpot record is S. procumbens but has become maritima in iRecord:

Thanks Tom.

I assume this is the same issue with records of Geranium pratense in iSpot which are displayed as G. himalayense on the DDb - https://database.bsbi.org/search.php#re ... 424adec9b1.
