Searching for records on VC boundaries

Michael Braithwaite has been doing a great job validating Berwickshire records using the DDb. One of the problems he encountered was searching for records on the boundaries of his VC in order to examine them. The problem is that a grid reference describes a square (a six figure grid ref describes a 100 x 100m square, while a two figure GR describes a 10x10km square for example). If the VC boundary intersects the square, records can be shown with two (or possibly more) VCs, depending on the source of those records.

The way to do it is to set the County/Region to your VC, and then more options>localities>Place names and then type the number of the adjacent vc(s) for which you wish to search for shared records and return, then click display results.
