Tetrad distributions

One can seldom say much about the fascinating tetrad distributions in an Atlas caption, especially as there are no valid trends to report on. How is BSBI planning to do justice to them?

This relates to that interesting Powerpoint you sent. I've asked Pete S. the same point and mentioned it in a couple of my draft captions. I often feel that we in general and myself in particular are not using this vast data resource. I await comment from Kev and Pete!

Comparing the tetrad and 10km maps for many species, I wonder why we are publishing the 10km versions. The tetrad maps clearly show patterns that are hardly visible at the larger scale.
