Tom,
The DDb and Mapmate have entries for both Koeleria macrantha (Crested Hair-grass) and Koeleria macrantha sens. lat. (Crested Hair-grass) - https://database.bsbi.org/search.php#re ... 2d7c012edf
All records of the s.l. taxon refer to K. maxcrantha s.s.. Stace (all editions) mentions that other taxa have been recognised, but he accepts none. Currently, mapping the s.s. cf the s.l. taxon create different distribution maps. The discrepancy is not too significant at hectad scale - https://database.bsbi.org/maps/?series= ... GYARiYackA
But it is much more apparent at tetrad scale - https://database.bsbi.org/maps/?series= ... GYARiYackA
The s.l. map gives the correct distribution. I wonder if all records of the s.l. taxon should be assigned automatically to the s.s. taxon?
Andy.
