Extracting MapMate Records

by jimmcintosh » Mon Jan 07, 2013 3:46 pm

Hi,
How can you extract only MapMate records for a given set of VC/date parameters?
Is it possible? Or do you have to get all the records into Excel format and then select just the MapMate records?

Thanks
Jim
PS When you do export the records into Excel some records have no External id. Where have they come from?

To search for mapmate records in general add a 'Source=>Data source' as a search constraint and 'mapmate' as the source. To narrow down to a particular mapmate user, then add 'Source=>dataset' as a constraint and e.g. 'MapMateCentre:1bh'

The records without an external id have typically been imported from spreadsheets or other databases that didn't assign unique id's to records - in general the dataset column in the exported results table should indicate where the record came from.
