Any queries about using the BSBI database

earliest or latest records

Is there a way to search for the earliest or latest records for each taxon?
This would be very useful in preparing Rare Plant Registers.

This can be done by setting up a grouped search (e.g. groupby=>taxon/species) and adding 'date range' as a group subdivision, e.g.

for carices in VC68

Excellent! The DDb is truly AMAZING! My top tip is that if you want ealiest and latest records for all taxa in your VC, just leave the "Taxon" field blank.

Et voila!

Brilliant - was about to start asking for help and finally remembered to come and look here - and this is what I find - the solution to my problem.
Thanks
