Common names in Reports?

by jimmcintosh » Thu May 28, 2015 9:00 am

Hi,
Does anyone know how to include Common names for taxa in downloaded results without using lookup tables in Excel, etc? This would be useful when doing searches for non botanists.

Cheers,
Jim

Hi Jim,

I don't think this is possible currently - but would be easy to add as an option. I'll do that.

Alistair,

you can add common names to grouped queries using the option:

subdivide by > taxon vernacular name, eg.

http://bsbidb.org.uk/search.php#query=d ... 22b0e3ef1d

But that option is only available with grouped queries, not downloads of individual records, so may not be what you are after?

Andy.
